12×12 ceramic tiles that look like stone. they are sort of textured, look like stone and there is dirt caked in the tiles. these tiles have been so neglected! i do not think the floor was ever sealed and it looks seriously dirty. i have been on my hands and knees scrubbing with baking soda and with vinegar for over 2 hours, and they are still dirty looking. i am pregnant so i would like to use something that hasnt got strong fumes if possible. does anyone know how i can make this floor look half way decent? i have to live here and i cant stand this floor! any advise is so apriciated

I’m not sure whether you are trying to clean the tiles or the grout between the tiles. In either case, try 409 spray cleaner. Spray it on, let it stay for a couple of minutes, then wipe it off. 409 is about the best cleaner I know of. I bought a bottle of Greased Lightning recently that works about as well, however.
Good luck!
there is an acid to use go to ace hardwear or the cornor
CARPET LOL
NAW SOUNDS LIKE NOTHING SHORT OF INDUSTRIAL STRIPPER CAN BUY AT JANITORIAL
THEN WOULD NEED TO BE SEALED AND OF COURSE WAXED
NOT A JOB FOR A FOR A PREGNANT LADY
WHY DON’T YOU CALL THE JANITORIAL SUPPLY STORE AND ASK FOR SOME OPTIONS
Pine Sol or liquid Spc N Span with water. Make solution double strength. Allow to soak and a floor scrub brush. I prefer Spc N Span because their is no ammonia and does not require rinsing.
If find stains that are not budging, use a bar of Lava soap.
Give grout minimum of 48 hours of drying before applying a grout sealer.
I recommend 409
STOP!!!!! If it is stone DO NOT USE ANYTHING ACIDIC! It will possibly etch and/or damage the stone. Chances are if its been neglected for too long you will need to call a pro to do an initial cleaning. Call me is you would like to ask any further questions.
