What is the best way to clean a tile floor? (or best cleaner?)?

I have a 1942 house with original black and white (marble?) tile in the bathroom. I tried scrubbing it but it didn’t help? Should i use a certain grout cleaner, bleach, acid? to help clean the tiles and the grout?
Also, shoudl I then seal it?
