It depends on what the tile is made from; ceramic tile is simple, you clean it like it was a wood floor. If the tile is marble, it can also be cleaned like a wood floor. If the tile is unglazed mexican, be careful not to get it too wet. If it is the grout lines that are dirty, you will need to use a scrub brush and grout cleaner.
If it’s going to be ceramic tile, which I had throughout my home in Florida, all I used was plain warm water! Be sure to vacuum up all loose dirt particles and then wash with the warm water. Then, every now ande then, I’d use a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and warm water.
Ammonia and water, make sure you wear gloves. This will make your tiles shine. Good Luck on your new home!
